Christmas Evening

We were having a wonderful time at my Uncle Allen's house and then Erin went to Liz and and said "Medicine tastes yucky!" We then found out that Erin had taken one pill of Grandma's blood pressure medicine! We took Erin to the E.R. in Lee's Summit and then they transferred us to Children's Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri. Before we left for Kansas City they put in a horrible I.V. and made Erin drink a large glass of charcoal drink. Throughout the night the nurses took Erin's blood pressure every 30 minutes. At one time her blood pressure dropped to 65 over 37 and her breaths per minute was down to ten! By morning the worst had passed and she was getting better. We were released the next day at 4PM and Erin was back playing with her cousin like nothing had happened!
